Support for the Williams Family

12/22/2021 2:06 pm

Our hearts go out to the Williams children and their family. Many of you have asked how you can help.

A community member has set up a GoFundMe to collect funds to cover funeral expenses and other immediate needs that the children may have: Support for the Williams siblings. Any amount is much appreciated.

The family has also shared Amazon wish lists for each of the children. If you are able to purchase a piece of clothing or a holiday gift, please have a look at the links below.

In an effort to not overwhelm the family, we ask that you please do not send any donations other than those requested at this time. We are working with the family and the school guidance office, and will share additional needs here as they come up.

If you have any questions, or prefer a different payment method, please contact Phyllis at presidentpsepta@gmail.com.

ISO Bookworm

10/14/2021 4:02 pm

Did you know that the PTA runs a Book Nook at school? There are several shelves in the front lobby that we keep stocked with books for the students to take home. Teachers can visit the Book Nook with their class or send students down anytime, and children can pick a free book to read and keep at home.
We are in need of one or two volunteers to help. PTA volunteers visit the Maryland Book Bank to collect books and/or come into school to sort and restock the shelves. If you are interested, please email Phyllis at presidentpsepta@gmail.com.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

10/14/2021 4:02 pm

Fliers went home on Monday for the PTA's 2nd annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest. This year, students and staff are encouraged to decorate their pumpkin in an animal theme, or even as their class animal. If you don't know what we're talking about, ask your child what animal they are and what their class group is called!
We are in need of pumpkins for students who would like to participate in the Contest but don't have one at home. If you are able to help, please drop off your pumpkin(s) at the front office or email Phyllis at presidentpsepta@gmail.com.
