If you have any extra/unwanted items listed below, please donate for Bluebirds to utilize when learning about the virtue of LOVE!

• Patterned paper (including wrapping paper/scrapbook paper)
• Straws and pipe cleaners
• Pom poms and beads
• Milk lids and plastic bottle caps
• As a green school, we always look to reuse and recycle 🙂

Any donations can be dropped off in the front office between now and 1/22.  Thank you, WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!

Soup'er Bowl Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

It's time for our annual Soup'er Bowl Teacher Appreciation luncheon. Please consider contributing a crock pot of soup or drink item. We request that you include the recipe with your soup due to staff allergies.  More info and the signup can be found at (TBD)

Our Book Fair Was a Huge Success!

Thank you for making this year's Book Fair a huge success!  We were able to collect $7,796 in sales, leading to a profit of $1,950 for our PTA!

Team BCPS parents, guardians, students, staff and community members are invited to nominate outstanding administrators for BCPS Principal of the Year (POY) and Assistant Principal of the Year (APOY) for 2025-26. Finalists for each level (elementary, middle, and high) will participate in the BCPS Principal of the Year and BCPS Assistant Principal of the Year competitions. The winners will be announced in April at the annual Champions for Children celebration. This is a great opportunity to recognize our incredible BCPS leaders!

Donate to the MD Food Bank

Who? All bluebirds are invited to participate in our yearly Service Drive!
What? Food Drive for the Maryland Food Bank
When? Collections are from January 2nd-24th
Where? House colored boxes are located in the front lobby for donations. Each donation = 1 house point!
Why? Because our bluebirds just learned about the virtue of empathy and want to give back to those in our community experiencing food insecurity!

One School, One Book

We are excited to share that we are able to hold another "One School, One Book" program this year!  We would love your input regarding the book we select to read as a school family. We will meet on Tuesday, January 21st at 4:15pm to discuss possible book titles. Please feel free to join us!
