The Mind Over Matters (MOM) event is a wonderful opportunity for all students and families to attend a fun and informative afternoon focused on Mental Health Wellness. This year's Mind Over Matters event will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, 10 a.m.-1:30 pm at the Carver Center located at 938 York Rd in Towson, MD.

The Baltimore Ravens and M&T Bank are inviting nominations for their 12th annual Touchdown for Teachers program, which recognizes local teachers who provide outstanding service for their schools and communities.

Beginning today, anyone may nominate an outstanding educator via the online application form through Friday, April 4.

Prepare for Book Donations

If you have gently used books ranging from Early Reader up to 6th grade that you no longer need, please consider a donation to the PTA that will also benefit your student! Ensure the books are in new/like new condition with the cover and all pages in tact without damage or coloring/writing inside (the child’s name on the inside cover is ok). We will accept paperbacks and hardbacks that are age appropriate for PreK-6th grade.
We are NOT looking for adult books, magazines, coloring/activity books, sticker books or books from kids meals. If you have those please contact secretarypsepta@gmail.com for other donation options. We will begin taking book donations next week, so gather up what you have! More details to come.

Last Chance to Volunteer and Pie a Teacher!

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS for our biggest fundraising event of the year, Spring Fling! The child/children of the parent/guardian that signs up to volunteer by the 7th of March will earn a virtual ticket entry into a drawing for the chance to PIE a TEACHER. Winners of PIE a TEACHER will be announced during Friday morning announcements on March 7th.

There will be 5 students that get to PIE A TEACHER at PSE on 3/14/2025. There will also be prepaid, PIZZA-PIE pick up for PSE families to grab from 6-7pmon Pie Day. All PIZZA-PIE proceeds go directly to benefit the PTA.

Silent Auction Items Needed

Would you be interested in helping our Spring Fling fundraiser in a BIG way?  We are looking for individuals and businesses to donate items for our Spring Fling's silent auction.  We can provide proper tax documentation for all donated items.

Next-Level Volunteering

Our volunteers are the BEST.  Lots of our volunteers are "aging out" of our PTA, with their kids graduating to the next-level themselves.  Would you consider stepping into some next-level volunteering yourself?  There are lots of opportunities out there.  We're thrilled that we've already had people step up for PTA Treasurer and Spring Fling Chair!  Some other specific needs we know we'll have next year are:

Spanish Books for Kids

If anybody has Spanish language books appropriate for elementary school kids, could you please consider donating them to PSE's PTA?  We will get these books into the hands of the teachers that need them most.  Together, we can help all of our students grow!
