Race for Education

Dear Pot Spring Families & Caregivers,

On Wednesday, November 6th, the Pot Spring Elementary School Parent Teacher Association will host the annual Race for Education fall fundraiser. Students will spend time during their school day walking or jogging around a short outdoor course with their classmates and teachers. Families, friends, and community members can sponsor and cheer on their Bluebirds with donations. The funds raised through Race for Education will support PSE’s administration and staff as they create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.

This year, Race for Education will support the One School, One Book reading program. Through One School, One Book, every student will receive a copy of the same book to read with their families or follow along with recorded readings featuring our very own PSE teachers and staff. At school, students will talk about the story with their class. This program was a great success last school year in strengthening student reading and bringing all grade levels together for a shared experience.

The PTA’s goal this year is to raise $6,500. To help us reach this goal, we need your help!  Donations can be made online through a student’s customized fundraising web page or with cash or check. Instructions for online account set-up and the direct donation form are attached.
