      • Ms. Truesdell concluded her time at PSE as interim principal last week. We thank her for her leadership and support in Mrs. Martin’s absence. Mrs. Martin is looking forward to returning soon.
      • Students in grade K-5 are finishing STAR testing. We are excited to see significant gains in Reading and Math in each grade level.
      • Our ELL students are finishing WIDA testing March 3rd.
      • Fifth graders will complete MISA testing the week of March 16th. This is an assessment of Science skills and knowledge and will be completed during rotations with Mrs. Causarano.
      • The Bluebird Shop last week was a success, so much so that we are out of prizes. If you are doing some early Spring Cleaning please send those treasures to school.
      • Friday February 20th is a half day for students and an afternoon of Professional Development for staff. Friday is also House Day celebrating Responsibility and introducing the virtue of Determination.
      • We have selected our title for One School One Book. We have decided to begin after Spring Break. More details to come!
      • Pot Spring will celebrate Read Across America week March 2-6. Information will be sent home tomorrow detailing the celebrations each day.
      • Mr. Fare has been selected to participate in the BCPS Principal Internship program. He will be serving as the Principal Intern at Charlesmont Elementary from March 2nd-25th. A letter is going home to the Pot Spring community tomorrow. We wish him all the best!
