Welcome to the Nest, Nurse Ryan!

This month, we want to spotlight PSE’s new School Nurse, Tricia Ryan!  Nurse Ryan brings with her to PSE 18 years of nursing experience, including four years as a school nurse substitute within BCPS.  While growing up, Nurse Ryan had the opportunity to travel as a result of her father’s military employment before her family settled down in Mt. Washington.  She graduated from the University of MD School of nursing, and now has a family of her own, living with her husband, 13 year old daughter, 12 year old son, and 3 year old dog.

When Nurse Ryan isn’t providing care to our Bluebirds, she enjoys spending time with her children, walking, reading, swimming, and listening to music.  She loves eating Mediterranean cuisine, animals of all kinds, and is a proud member of Green House!  Looking forward to the year ahead at PSE, Nurse Ryan is excited to help students, staff, and families – and our PSE community is excited to have you, Nurse Ryan – welcome to the “nest”!
