Race for Education

Race for Education is an annual jog-a-thon, which involves students walking and/or jogging around a 1/4 mile area for one hour during their normally scheduled Special class. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser are used to support PTA programs at school.

We are happy to announce that proceeds from this year’s event will fund the return of the One School, One Book program that fostered an incredible amount of excitement and community building across PSE last year. 

The success of Race for Education is based on students and families approaching sponsors who will contribute a tax-deductible donation to the Pot Spring PTA. A Race for Education information and instruction packet will be sent home with each student. The packet will contain instructions to set up individualized campaign pages for each student, and a paper letter template, should you prefer to utilize physical mail contact.

1. A participation ribbon will be given to all the students who participate on Wednesday, November 1st.

If we reach our goal of $8,000 by RACE Day, Wednesday, November 1st, Mrs. Martin and Mr. Fare will have a special surprise to share with students!
