House Day Wish List

Our Wish List for next year's House Program is now posted! All of these items are linked to our theme for the year, and are used to pump up students and staff for a successful and fun year. The decorations on the list are used throughout the year for different school-wide initiatives, and all of the books are the virtue-based literature that will be used for this year's house days!

This program is the heart of PSE, and our community is always so giving to ensure the magic continues.

Pot Spring Elementary Chess Club

Dates: Every Tuesday between 10/7 and 12/9 (except for 11/4 and 11/18)
Times: 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM
Cost: $170 per student

Fun is the name of the game!  However, Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Chess Academy) also sneaks in a bit of critical thinking, sportsmanship, and patience into chess club!  Each week students of all levels do a fun but challenging lesson with one of our great coaches from our world class curriculum followed by practice games against other students in the class.

Join the 100,000 (and counting!) kids who've learned chess with us! This in-person club includes online extras like practice tournaments, Chesskid Gold membership ($49 value) and a bonus lesson with a chess celebrity!

Next-Level Volunteering

Our volunteers are the BEST.  Lots of our volunteers are "aging out" of our PTA, with their kids graduating to the next-level themselves.  Would you consider stepping into some next-level volunteering yourself?  There are lots of opportunities out there.  We're thrilled that we've already had people step up for PTA Treasurer and Spring Fling Chair!  Some other specific needs we know we'll have next year are:

Spanish Books for Kids

If anybody has Spanish language books appropriate for elementary school kids, could you please consider donating them to PSE's PTA?  We will get these books into the hands of the teachers that need them most.  Together, we can help all of our students grow!
